“My husband and I were looking for a quiet place to get away and enjoy the beauty of Northern Minnesota with our dog. Our stay exceeded our expectations and Willy and Betsy do a wonderful job! The cabin and boat were very clean and maintained well. The area has so much to do, but relaxing on the deck overlooking the lake is a great way to spend a few hours as well! We hope to be back and highly recommend Vosburgh's!”

“Just got back from an incredible stay at Vosburgh's! Willy and Betsy were extremely nice and helpful! The boats were clean and in perfect condition with excellent motors! The cabin was fantastic with the most incredible views imaginable! Willy provided us with plenty of wood for chilly mornings and evenings and helped us in every way possible! I would highly recommend this place to everyone! The hospitality, the amazing hand-made furniture, awesome cabins and stunning views made this a vacation filled with memories I'll always cherish! “My family and I spent a week at Custom Cabin Rentals in July 2021. We absolutely loved everything about this beautiful property! The staff was very accommodating and friendly! Everything was excellent from canoe rides, kayaking, hiking, to fishing trips. The property is a short 20 minute drive to Ely which has a great grocery story and wonderful restaurants. It is also very close to numerous hikes around nearby lakes. The cabin had everything we needed and was fully stocked with all the cookware necessary to prepare meals for a large family. The views from the front screened-in porch were amazing and we spent hours relaxing and soaking in the lake views that went on for miles. We also enjoyed swimming in the lake and time down on the dock. If you are looking for a family friendly property with activities for everyone in a quiet and peaceful setting, I highly recommend Custom Cabins. I would absolutely recommend this to a friend and will be returning next year!! Thanks Betsy and Willy!”

“Amazing time spent at this location! It was a wonderful vacation. The cabin was great and had everything we needed. Beautiful view of the lake from the cabin. Canoeing was great in the BWCA. We saw a moose while canoeing which was awesome. Definitely will be back and can hopefully plan a canoeing trip.”

“We had an amazing time at this great spot! The location is beautiful - right on the water and with our own dock. Although there is a house next door, the cabin seemed so private and remote, with trees in between. There is a great deck where we sat and enjoyed the lake views. Willy delivered a canoe, paddles and life jackets right to our dock for us to use throughout our stay. The cabin itself it great as well; it has everything we needed for a 3 night stay! We made dinner each night, either with the oven or on the charcoal grill outside. Everything we needed to cook was available. Beds were very comfortable, and the entire cabin was spotlessly clean. The area is a great one for bird watchers - we saw many birds including Loons, Bald Eagles, a few types of Woodpeckers and several Warblers as well! Not to mention a Mink, and Otters in the lake! Overall, I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay. I would love to return someday. Thank you Willy, for a great vacation!”

“Nice cabin, beautiful view and lake which we enjoyed by canoeing daily. Lots of local wild life viewing (Eagles, Beavers, Loons, etc.) and Betsy and Willie were very kind and helpful. Enjoyed the location, nice local hikes and the cute town of Ely nearby. Had a wonderful time relaxing with our family and shared lots of laughs.”

“We stayed at Vosburgh cabins August 10-14 2017 and this has been the 3rd time we have rented from them and it has always been a wonderful experience! The cabins are always clean and well stocked with all you need for your stay! Betsy and Willy will ALWAYS try to make you feel welcome and take care of any needs that arise! The cabins at the top have some of the most beautiful views of Moose lake and the entry of the boundary waters! It's also a great place to bring your 4 legged friends who will have a blast with you! The fishing was going great for everyone I talked to this year so if you want a truly great old school cabin and canoeing and fishing experience you will not do better than Vosburgh cabins! “A month or so ago, my husband suggested getting away somewhere up north to fish and relax. Vosburgh’s Custom Cabins was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed, but the views from the screened porch were the highlight! I watched the amazing sunrises and sunsets every day. We saw bald eagles over head and deer just a few feet from our cabin. The lake is beautiful, and my husband enjoyed fishing. They had everything he needed right there. Also, it was a very dog friendly place, and our dog had a great time with all the wonderful wildlife smells. Willy, Betsy, and staff were great! We would definitely recommend staying here.”
